Thank you for this post. I sometime feel that I use very long sentences. But when I re-read, I find that although they sounded very nice, they did not convey the information clearly. (I just did it here :D) . So, I am in process of deliberately reducing the sentence length.

Your post was a great reminder that it is necessary. A good teacher can always explain complex theories in simple sentences.
